Our Inspiring Girls in STEM Stories

Through the “Girls in Science” initiative, rural schools are now giving girls access to science labs and practical experiments. Students who once thought science was too difficult are learning biology, chemistry, and physics under safe guidance. Mentors and female role models show them that scientific careers are achievable, helping students like Rehema build confidence and ambition.

With modern lab equipment and digital learning tools, these girls are applying theory in practical ways, preparing for future innovation and problem-solving. The program encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and persistence, shaping a new generation of female Tanzanian scientists.

“Science is fun, and I can dream of becoming a doctor or engineer one day.”
